Youth of Sumud

In the hills of Hebron, in At-Tawani, there are Palestinian youth taking a stand against the Israeli military occupation. Their homes and schools are being demolished by the IDF and their families are being forced to live in caves. No electricity, limited access to water, violent attacks from extremist Israeli settlers. Below are limited notes from meeting with the students, as what I witnessed was purely horrific. At the heart of this conflict is the way in which the Israeli military occupation in the West Bank is destroying Palestinian livelihoods, killing Palestinian children, demolishing Palestinian homes, and reducing Palestinian quality of life.
